Shanikas began in Richmond, a small family kitchen where Italian classics were cooked the slow way: pasta rolled by hand each morning, sauces left to murmur for hours, and a welcome that treated every guest like family returning home.
As the family grew, so did the table. Today, Shanikas Carrum Downs carries that same Richmond spirit into a contemporary space at 11 Levida Drive — all warm light, soft linen and easy conversation. We open early for breakfast, settle in over long lunches, and turn Friday evenings into something to remember.
Our philosophy is unchanged: honest produce, cooked with care and served with genuine warmth. Whether it's a fresh juice before work, a plate of hand-made pasta with friends, or a private celebration — you are always welcome at our table.
